Nivin Ramani gets roped in Star Plus' new crime show Emergency Task Force
We are constantly updating you about every developments taking place in the Star Plus new creation Emergency Task Force, produced by Four Lion Films. As we had written, the show’s first episode will feature Naveen Saini along with his wife, and the latest we have learnt is that the makers have also roped in actor Nivin Ramani for the sequence.

The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make this bi-weekly crime series a great success. Nivin Ramani has acted in Star Plus’ Maryada… Lekin Kab Tak and recently featured in an episodic in Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms’ Gumraah-The End of Innocence.

The upcoming episode will revolve around women trafficking, wherein a poor girl (daughter of the character played by Naveen Saini) will get kidnapped. Nivin will be seen as the girl’s boyfriend and will get killed in the series.

Nivin confirmed the track and said, “Yes, I am doing Emergency Task Force and it’s a great honor to work for such a grand project. With this show, it’s like home coming (Star Plus)”.

The nation is giving big thumps up to the show Gumraah- The End of Innocence for its brilliant story line and unique presentation. Especially host Karan Kundra, who has been appreciated really well by the masses when it got aired simultaneously on two channels, namely Star Plus and Channel V last Saturday.

And the makers Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms are gearing up to make the show better and more appealing. The coming week’s episode will see a story titled, Mad Cap Kolkata Week. The plot will revolve around a bunch of kids from Kolkata who will run away from home to free themselves from the demands of their parents. But they will get caught in a bigger trouble and commit a crime which will destroy their lives.

For this particular sequence, the makers have roped in seasoned actress Papiya Sengupta. She would essay the character of a mother who will be hailing from a very rich family.

When got in touch with her, Papiya confirmed, “I am suffering from stomach ache so I postponed my shoot which was supposed to start from today (4 June 2012). I am glad to be a part of Gumraah.”

Must say that hosted by the dashing hunk of TV, Karan Kundra, Channel V’s youth based show Gumraah- End of Innocence a Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms’ creation, is doing pretty well.

The show deals with juvenile crime tales and as a presenter, Karan not only adds value to it but also caters it in quite an appealing manner. As heard, the upcoming episode (13 May, 2012) is titled Lovers Can Kill. This time the makers have taken up the idea of Dangerous Ishq and want to make the audience see how love can force anyone to commit a deadly crime like murder.

As per the plot, an immature couple in love will kill their respective parents for the fear of getting separated. Names like Rushad Rana (last seen in Rang Badalti Odhani) Laveena Tandon (Papad Pol fame), Ravi Bhatia (Veer Shivaji fame) have been roped in to play the respective characters.

While Rushad Rana confirmed his presence in the said episode, Laveen Tondon remained unavailable and Ravi Bhatia chose not to comment anything.
