much anticipated Apple iPhone 5 had finally launched by Apple yesterday
with a number of new additions and improvements. However, the handset
has disappointed many people. The cause of the disappointment to the
people was the videos which showed some enormous transparent
(We know, that was a Fake Video but people don’t know about reality of the video) and heart taking features of the phone.
I would like to quote the new product as “
Amazing” as Apple Inc new phone is quite good with its features and quality.

features and will find that the Apple iPhone 5 is really new and
innovative.
Apple iPhone 5 new additions
Dimensions
The Apple iPhone 5 has got some new additions in its dimensions with
the longer screen and thinner edges. Apple iPhone 5 is the thinner
phone in the world with its just 7.6 mm thickness.
The Apple iPhone is the best Apple product as far it is concerned to
its design. The handset has 18 percent reduced thickness than Apple
iPhone 4S and 20 percent lesser weight.
The handset has become the thinnest iPhone ever built with the
largest screen. Its 4 inches Retina screen is a good move by Apple
which has real good pixel density. The exact length of this phone is
123.8 mm. The width of the new one is unchanged i.e. 58.6 mm.
The weight of this handset is 112 grams only. Imagine such a handset
resting on your palm with all new 4 inches display which can display at
a time 5 rows of icons. The Apple has not introduced more width to this
handset which is the
first plus point of the makers as the handsets like Samsung Galaxy S3 can never be used easily for the single handed operations.
Design
The Apple iPhone 5 has the all new design with the rear part made up
of the Aluminium and Glass. The Aluminium used is the series 6000 type.
Moreover, the crystalline diamonds were used to sharpen and provide
slope to the edges of this product which are really good to see.
One more new thing introduced is the Sapphire crystal to cover the
camera of the phone instead of the simple glass. To your notice, the
Sapphire is the second hardest material in the world after diamond.
That means the new one is really tougher.
New Earbuds [EarPods]
That is what the Apple has introduced with this new product, a thing
which the customers were demanding from atleast a decade. The earphones
of the Apple have been re-designed by the company, which are very
comfortable to wear.
The New EarPods are having a good built and have been tested in many
conditions with different people and then approved after the 3 year
effort of the product. Well, the earphones can work well in high
temperature and sweaty conditions. They d not even jump out of your
years when you turn your head.
Apple Logo design
The Apple Logo has been partially filled with two colors. The black
variant of the Apple iPhone 5 has its logo of Black and late colors.
However, the White variant of Apple iPhone 4 has been colored with the
white and Silver colors.
Lightning Connector
The Apple has also introduced a new connector in this product which
is strongly criticized by the tech gurus as many companies had relied
upon the connectivity equipments and accessories of the Apple.
With the new connector, it would also be difficult for the people
who own the older accessories of apple. So, the brand has also launched
an adapter for the connectivity of the new iPhone with the older
accessories. The adapter cost is $30, so that’s additional and
disappointing factor as they have to buy another accessory to connect
their older accessories with this phone.
The adapter will be the 30 pin connector which will be an interface between the lightning connector and the older accessory.
AirPlay
Airplay enables handset to be connected with the HDTV to play the
High Definition videos without any physical connection. This means the
connection is wireless now. When the AirPlay will be started, what you
do on the phone, it will just play the thing on the HDTV. Playing game
and even typing will also appear on the HD screen.
AirPrint
AirPrint is a feature which will enable the user to print anything
on the printer (Airplay enabled printer only). So, with the Wi-Fi ON,
the anything can be printed on the printer without need of any
connector, wire or drivers.
Apple iPhone 5 Advancements
Display
The display of Apple iPhone 5 is the Retina type which one of the
best display in the world. The phone has improved pixel density up to
18 percent more pixels. Every inch of the phone has 326 pixels.
On the other hand, the phone has the improved pixel resolution of
1136 x 640 pixels. That is the great of Apple, which had manufactured a
lighter phone with larger screen with more pixels. The phone is
reportedly 9 mm taller than the previous version.
Connectivity features
The Apple iPhone 5 has been equipped with the 4G LTE connectivity
which is limited to some carriers in the world. So with the 4G carrier
in Apple iphone 5, one can enjoy a speed up to 100 Mbps.
The HSPA and HSPA+ connectivity features will be able to provide the
14.4 Mbps and 21 Mbps speed respectively. The GPRS and EDGE are also
supportive, capable of downloading data at the speeds of .04 and .38
Mbps speed.
The Wireless connectivity of this phone is made the dual band with
802.11 n will provide the 150 Mbps speed on this phone. The surfing and
downloading on this device will be really fast.
Processor
The new processing chip has been placed in this phone. The handset
operates upon the A6 chip which is quite efficient and fast. The iOS 6
operating system is the heart of this phone which contains more than
200 applications preloaded. The iOS 6 is really awesome.
The Apple iPhone 5 phone has also the iCloud which can store lot information.
SIRI app
The Siri app was the main attraction of the Apple iPhone 4S, which
had led the phone to be the highest sold product in the market. In the
new phone, the Apple has advanced the Siri application with more smart
answers of the user’s questions
SIRI thus provides a faster and right answer or selects the right
application when asked. However, the interface of the SIRI application
is same.
Camera features
The camera part of the rear camera was expected to be increased up
to 12 MP. However Apple stuck to the 8 MP iSight camera. There are
changes made in the video recording and the effects of the camera.
I shall first talk about the
Panorama mode of the camera
which can allow the user to capture high quality 3D pictures with 240
degree rotation on the whole. The phone uses the gyroscope sensor and
processor with camera, to capture 28 MP pictures.
The image quality captured form the camera is very clear. The camera
of this phone captures pictures at very fast rates and is quite
efficient in capturing pictures in low light with reduction in the
noise.
The 1080p HD videos can be recorded from the rear camera which can
also detect 10 faces at a time. The video quality is very good. The
front camera is also made capable to record HD videos in 720 pixels.
So, the video calling will seem as if it is real.
The camera lens has been made up f the Sapphire crystal which will keep it scratch resistant.
Maps
The maps on the Apple iPhone 5 have been advanced features which
will be user friendly and a lot easier to use with a close detail. Have

Battery
The battery life of the phone will be good than the previous Apple
phones as the A6 chip of the phone smartly switches off the unused part
and thus smartly consume the battery of the phone.
The phone will tend to give 8 hours talktime backup as well as 8
hours LTE browsing backup. The phone can play videos up to 10 hours
period.
Apple iPhone 5 price
Apple iPhone 5 will be available in the Apple iStores from 21
September, 2012. However, the pre-order feature will be available on 14
September, 2012. The Apple iPhone 5 price is suggested to be $199 for
16 GB model and $299 for 32 GB model and $399 for 64 GB model.
Also, Apple will price the Apple iPhone 4S at $99 with 2 years
contract. And the Apple iPhone 4 will be sold free with 2 years
contract.
iPhone 5 Price in India not yet revealed, but rumors that it will release in India on this Diwali.
