Popular faces to be seen in the second season of Gumrah

We had already shared the cheerful news with our readers that Gumrah is back again with a fresh new season on Channel V.

Talking about the opening episode on Monday, it was based on AIDS. The story was liked by all and admiration is still coming the way of the show. However, with television heartthrob Karan Kundra playing host of the show, second tale will deal with the more appealing subject. In the coming episodes fans will get to see more famous faces. As heard Neil Bhatt, Aditi Tailang, Avinash Mukherjee and Kritika Kamra's younger brother Rahul Kamra would be seen in the episode.    

This time the episode will revolve around a ragging case that took place in a medical college wherein a young boy committed suicide. The story is inspired from the infamous Aman Kachroo and several other ragging cases.

Producer Vikas Gupta has basically wanted to give lesson to the youth that the monkey business they are doing without knowing the further effects can spoil anyone’s life or even put him/her at the stage of death. The most talkative topic of youth in India happens to be ragging and the real stories will showcase in the show to give a better line to our young generation.  

This particular episode will be aired on Wednesday (11th & 12th July 2012).

After a splashing hit of season-1 Channel V’s youth based reality show Gumrah-The End of Innocence, from the makers Balaji and Lost Boy Productions is coming up with its second season to enthrall the audience once again.  

Don’t get slaked with this only, guys we have lot more to make you grin. The show which was aired biweekly will entertain viewers every Monday to Friday at 8 pm on Channel V from 9 July (2012). Now, on Star Plus, it will continue to air its first season every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm. And most importantly with your favorite anchor Karan Kundra.

Spreading more on the show, the season 2 will also depict real life crime incidents. The first episode will see Hali Daruwala, famous as Saloni of Humse Hai Life, Yathartha Agnihotri (Nach Baliye fame) and Dilzad Hiwale-lead of the movie Bubble Gum.

However, the plot will depict the pressure of exams on teens and how they resort to ill means to deal with it. The sequences have been shot in Haridwar, Delhi and Hrishikesh.

Full on entertainment go through out the week. Sounds very catchy folks!

Sad to take in but guys this is official now. The cutest and most adorable onscreen and off screen couple is no more together now. We are really saddened to inform that the breakup of Karan Kundra aka Arjun and Kritika Kamra aka Arohi is all official now.

Earlier it was only a buzz but the couple was facing some troubled time in their relation but if go by the latest statement given by Kritika then these two have surely parted ways. It is notable that the couple was very much famous through Imagine TV’s youth show Kitni Mohobat Hai and became trend setter with their outstanding chemistry both on and off screen.

Talking of her relationship with Karan, Kritika said, “I am not dating Karan anymore. But that does not mean that we are not friends. We still hang out together and meet at parties.”  

She added, “We still inform each other if something new is happening in our lives. Frankly speaking, there is no animosity and we have handled things in a mature way. We have spent so much time together, that we will always be there for each other.”

Talking of the reason behind the break up, she immediately said, “There was nothing big that happened. We did not have a fight, and honestly speaking I am tired of explaining. Whatever happened was between us and I don’t think it is anybody else’s business to talk about it”.

Garnering amazing response from the masses the show on Channel V’ Gumraah-The End of Innocence has set to mesmerize its viewers again with its next episode. The Lost Boy and Balaji Production show was initially aired only on Channel V but later it bagged a prime time slot on Star Plus as well.

Now the makers have tightened their seat belt and not leaving a single stone unturned to make the upcoming episode a superbly gripping one.

With the high pitched action and entertainment, we have heard that cast and crew of Gangs of Wasseypur will be feature in the upcoming episode as part of the promotional campaign. And folks…director of the show, Anurag Kashyap, will anchor the show along with Karan Kundra. Other actors from the movie who will be seen are Manoj Bajpai and Richa Chaddha.

But this is not it; the Dhamakedar sequence will also feature TV actors to make it more interesting. Names like Sadiya Siddique, who last seen in Balika Vadhu and Gaurav Bajaj fame of move Vroom, will see spreading their magic.

Now, talking about the plot it will basically deal with a true story which took place in Wassypur (Bihar) wherein an act of revenge will lead to a horrific murder and beheading by a 14 year old girl.

“It’s a very shocking true story which is based on an awful murder that took place in Wasseypur- Bihar. I am glad to be a part of this particular episode as such big personalities are going to share screen space with me,” confirmed Sadiya. This particular episode will air this Saturday (16 June 2012).

So don’t miss this striking and vibrant sequence.

The nation is giving big thumps up to the show Gumraah- The End of Innocence for its brilliant story line and unique presentation. Especially host Karan Kundra, who has been appreciated really well by the masses when it got aired simultaneously on two channels, namely Star Plus and Channel V last Saturday.

And the makers Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms are gearing up to make the show better and more appealing. The coming week’s episode will see a story titled, Mad Cap Kolkata Week. The plot will revolve around a bunch of kids from Kolkata who will run away from home to free themselves from the demands of their parents. But they will get caught in a bigger trouble and commit a crime which will destroy their lives.

For this particular sequence, the makers have roped in seasoned actress Papiya Sengupta. She would essay the character of a mother who will be hailing from a very rich family.

When got in touch with her, Papiya confirmed, “I am suffering from stomach ache so I postponed my shoot which was supposed to start from today (4 June 2012). I am glad to be a part of Gumraah.”

Television industry’s handsome hunk Karan Kundra can easily stop ones breath with his looks. The very handsome actor has a very huge fan following, especially females. This young lad has always hit the headlines with his onscreen and off screen relationship with Kritika Kamra and is currently hogging the limelight for anchoring the crime based show Gumraah.

Karan comes from a very rich business family. When asked about what took him to pick acting as a career, he said, "I would ask why not acting? I have done all possible genres on television and movie, like I have been a dancer, a driver for a show, have played 19 year old brat for a movie, a negative character and now an anchor. So I think I have tried pretty much everything in acting. I don't act for money, it's my passion."

On being asked that what made him and Kritika turn down Nach Baliye, Karan said, "I said earlier, I don't work for money but I need creative satisfaction. And I don't want to earn money by mere dancing”.

When questioned about his relationship with Kritika, he said, “Talking about Kritika and mine's relationship, we both are someone who doesn't bother about what others say about us. We still talk to each other and even meet whenever possible. We even get spotted together at parties as we have a bunch of common friends and we hang out together”.

Well said Karan, this is why you are loved by all. Keep the attitude same.

So far on one had doubt over the fact that TV hunk Karan Kundra, popularly known as Arjun of Kitni Mohabbat Hai, is highly popular among the ladies.

However, a recent incident proved it that this actor has his enthusiasts in kids too. Surprised? Well, we were too shocked a tad. Now what made us come across this fact was the incident which took place while Karan was shooting in a chawl in Vashi for an episode of his show on Channel V, Gumraah… End of Innocence.

Surprisingly, he was mobbed by a gang of kids. Sources say that when the shoot got over and Karan was getting into his car, few of the kids surrounded him. When he tried to drive the car without hurting the kids, he actually ended up banging one side of the car against the wall.

When sources got in touch with Karan, he said, “Yes, it was a strange incident, and the kids mobbed me like anything. They were going crazy on seeing me. I even damaged one side of my car, when I tried to get away from them. Eventually the production guys had to come to my help”.

Now this is what an actor has to keep facing every now and then!

Now with a promise to sizzle the viewers, dance reality show Nach Baliye is making a comeback on Star Plus after years since its first season hit the airwaves.

As usual, lots of celebs’ names are being popped in the air as probable contestants to shake a leg or two. Media has already reported about Kritika Kamra and Karan Kundra being a part of it. But as per recent reports these lovebirds have parted ways and have decided not to be a part of any show just for the sake of money or publicity.

Now, the latest we have learnt is that Rubina Dilaik and Avinash Sachdev have been approached by the makers Sol Productions. They were last seen in Zee TV’s Choti Bahu.

However, Rubina said, “These are just rumors and nothing as such is happening. I am busy settling back in life after a long season of Choti Bahu and if Nach Baliye happens, I wouldn’t mind doing it”.

While Avinash said, “I am not at all comfortable dancing as it’s not my passion. But if given a chance I would think over it.”

All we can say is Avinash-Rubina, you make an adorable couple and it would be a treat for fans to see you both dancing together!

Must say that hosted by the dashing hunk of TV, Karan Kundra, Channel V’s youth based show Gumraah- End of Innocence a Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms’ creation, is doing pretty well.

The show deals with juvenile crime tales and as a presenter, Karan not only adds value to it but also caters it in quite an appealing manner. As heard, the upcoming episode (13 May, 2012) is titled Lovers Can Kill. This time the makers have taken up the idea of Dangerous Ishq and want to make the audience see how love can force anyone to commit a deadly crime like murder.

As per the plot, an immature couple in love will kill their respective parents for the fear of getting separated. Names like Rushad Rana (last seen in Rang Badalti Odhani) Laveena Tandon (Papad Pol fame), Ravi Bhatia (Veer Shivaji fame) have been roped in to play the respective characters.

While Rushad Rana confirmed his presence in the said episode, Laveen Tondon remained unavailable and Ravi Bhatia chose not to comment anything.

As per the most-recent reports, it is learnt that the fifth season of popular celebrity dance reality show Nach Baliye is all set to entertain the audience once again.

So far, four seasons of the show have been on air and the last and fourth season came in 2008, with absolute no information as when the new season will roll on. Though there were whispers that the show was coming up with its next season in 2010 with many of television couples but nothing really seems to have worked out at that time.

But it is believed that this time the reports of the dance reality show making comeback is true. And if the rumors are correct then it will be after the gap of four years that the audience will get to watch this star-studded dance reality show.

News making way from the sources is that the channel is currently hunting for popular couples from telly land and further the well-placed sources informed that Kritika Kamra and Karan Kundra have been approached to participate in the show.

However, given the rumours of their split, will they bite the bait? Only time will tell!

The juvenile crime based stories have stricken a right chord with the masses and there are many who identify with the said plots and cases. It has been running successfully on the small screen with its captivating stories that depict real crime. Buzz has it that after churning out various crime tales, the CVs are now set to thrill the audience with its forthcoming episode based on drug addiction.

Latest reports suggest that the upcoming episode of the show will feature an episodic based on the story of drug consumption and alleged murder. The episode will depict that how teenagers are getting tangled in drug consumption and how their lives are being troubled by it.

Not only the story line will boost up the TRP levels of the show but the hottest host Karan Kundra, will also be seen mesmerizing the youth with his dashing personality.

As they say, just because you are not doing it, it’s not worth it. Same applies with Karan Kundra, who has earlier worked in famous daily soap Kitni Mohabbat Hai, but now as he is not working in any fiction show at the moment, he considers that soaps lack creativity.

Now days the audience can see him anchoring teen crime show Gumrah on Channel V, and he says daily soaps do not involve any creativity and he has no plans to do them in the near future. "Anyone can do a daily soap but there is no creativity in that. I asked myself that what am I doing by doing these shows. And that is when I decided to something different," Karan told the sources.

On the other side, it was all praises for his current show Gumrah. "It is a very bold, different and in your face show. It is something that any intelligent actor would like be a part of. Something you don't get a chance of doing often. You can do a daily soap whenever you wish to, but you cannot do a Gumrah," he added.

Well Karan, change is inevitable and we are not surprised to see you going through the one!
