With every passing week, the competition is getting tougher on the popular reality dancing show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 which is being judged by three ace personalities of tinsel town, Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D Souza.

The latest news doing rounds is that one of the contestants Pratyusha Banerjee (Anandi of Balika Vadhu) has stepped out of the show due to her ill health. People were wondering that how she would continue performing in the reality dance show with her illness.

Finally, she has been announced as the next contestant to get eliminated from the show. If believe the industry sources then her ill health is not only responsible indeed her performance has also paid an equally important role behind her elimination. Pratyusha was not getting good numbers from judges. Even last week her performance was not up to the mark consequently the tele star fell short on votes.

It is notable that Isha Shravani and Karanvir Bohra performed despite having viral fever but Pratyusha failed to perform as reportedly she had stomach infection. Now, speculations are on the rife that Avika Gor (young Anandi) might replace her on the show.

Not drawing too much suspense let us tell you that Pratyusha got emotional during one of her dance acts in JDJ. As informed, this week’s episodes will see the contestants paying a tribute to the legends of cinema in order to commemorate the completion of 100 years of Indian cinema.

Wherein Pratyusha will see trembling her legs on the Bollywood’s oldie goldie song Aaja Aaja from the movie Teesri Manzil. But unfortunately while performing she forgot and missed a few steps. And this soft-hearted Bengali beauty could not hold on to her tears when the judges analyzed her performance.

This is also learned that majority of the contestants managed to perform their acts really well but Pratyusha could not match her feet to the beat and rhythm.

Talking about the other contestant, Gurmeet Choudhary will be seen performing on Chalak Chalak from Devdas and Talat Aziz will shake his legs on Khaike Paan Banaraswala and Ye Mera Dil from Don.

Colors’ social drama Balika Vadhu is again going focusing on the track of child marriage in the coming episodes. Wherein Anandi aka Pratyusha Banerjee and Shiv aka Siddharth Shukla will come close to each other while rescuing the issue. 

Presently viewers are watching that Anandi is worried about Jyoti’s studies as she has been absent from school. In the coming episodes, she will get to know that Jyoti is being subjected to child marriage. Anandi will try to stop this when Jyoti’s parents take her to a nearby village to get her married. Anandi will follow them and reach the village to stop the marriage.

However, Anandi will not be able to force them to change their decision as she cannot dictate terms because she is not the Sarpanch of that particular village. Instead, she will be treated badly and bullied too. Anandi along with Bhairon (Anoop Soni) and Kalyani (Surekha Sikri), who accompany Anandi, will be held captive. And this is when Shiv reaches the village and gets into a major fight and rescues them. We have also heard that with this sequence, both Shiv and Anandi will develop feelings for each other.

However, latest dope on the show is Dadisa’s (Surekha Sikri) worries will come to an end with Ashima (Reema) making an exit from Jaitsar. But before leaving, she will make Shiv realize his love for Anandi.

This exciting thing will unfold in the coming episodes when viewers see Ashima packing her bags and moving out of Jaitsar house. Actually, Ashima has always been in love with Shiv and the latter never reciprocated identical feelings.

There was a time when she quoted saying, “The relationship is still at a very early stage. Yes, we like each other and we are hopeful that everything will be fine in the future. Being in love is a different feeling altogether.”

Promos of the show featuring Madhuri Dixit have already got thumbs up from all and now we are even getting to see few of the participants flaunting off their dancing skills. Recently, we saw Sri Lankan cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya, Balika Vadhu fame Anandi aka Pratyusha Banerjee and the favorite of masses Gopi bahu aka Giaa Manek from Saath Nibhana Saathiya, dancing in the promotional videos.

With Anandi aka Pratyusha Banerjee from Colors’ Balika Vadhu filing for the divorce and moving ahead in her life, the CVs are planning to give her life a new turn.

As seen last, her in-laws have started seeking alliances for her and are willing to get her married to a family which is loving and will treat her as their daughter. Now this apparently gives rise to the need of one more male lead in the daily.

Buzz has it that the production house Sphere Origin has got in touch with many of the faces who might fit in the bill. If go by the reports then Siddharth Shukla, the handsome hunk of TV world, who was last seen in Luv U Zindagi aired on Star Plus has been approached to play the said role.

Though nothing official has been confirmed as of yet but Siddharth is said to have given the look test for the role. On being quizzed by the sources, Siddharth said that at present he is not occupied with any project and is busy reading scripts. He admitted to have been offered the show but refused to divulge any further.

In the coming episodes we will see how the family and Bhairon agrees to Jagya and goes to Jaipur where Jagya and Gauri are staying temporarily

But the real twist will come when Anandi will also get back to Jagya and will threaten him to file a case of polygamy against him. Viewers will get to see lot of drama taking place wherein Jagya will get slapped by Anandi, which will outrage him and he will file a petition for divorce in the court, and unfortunately they will be given a time of six month to re-think about their decision.

On being contacted Shashank said, “Jagya will get insulted in front of his entire family as Anandi will slap him. Hence, he will no longer hold on to the divorce or the property issue.”

The drama indeed sounds quite an interesting one!

 This was informed earlier that post the divorce with Anandi (Pratyusha Banerjee); life will get highly troublesome for Jagya (Shashank Vyas).

He will not only face financial setbacks but his marital life with Gauri (Anjum Farooki) will also go for a toss. As per the updates, Gauri is ecstatic over Jagya and Anandi getting separated forever; however, Jagya is still not able to accept the fact that he has completely been abandoned by his family members. Furthermore, things would get complicated as Jagya, who will join a small hospital, decides to quit the job as he isn’t satisfied with it.

On the other end, Gauri will get placed at a renowned hospital in the city and her career graph would be higher than that of Jagya. Frustrated over his failure, Jagya will start on drinking hence adding up to his fights with Gauri. Looking at the financial instability that has come in their life, Gauri will eventually advice Jagya to claim his property rights. She will make him believe that as he is the only son of the family, he owes all rights to get his share.      

Jagya will follow her advice and one will see him claiming his rights on the property. Looks like he is yet to receive a big blow from his family members over the property issue! Let us see what share he gets eventually.

Famously known as Anandi of popular television show Balika Vadhu, Avika Gor, who is now days seen as Role in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka will be seen playing a character role in Bollywood's upcoming flick Tezz.

It has been informed earlier as well, that Tezz is Priyadarshan’s upcoming action flick that stars Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Sameera Reddy and Kangana Ranaut in the main leads.

Buzz says that Avika will play an important character in the film as she will be seen in two to three scenes which are vital to the storyline. The story is about a train which is hijacked by terrorists and Avika plays Boman Irani's daughter who is traveling alone in the train. Boman is the train controller who will be in contact with his daughter only through her phone."

Sources contacted Avika who told, "Yes I am playing Boman Irani's daughter who is around 13- 14 years old girl and has a new cell phone. I have very cute scenes with Boman Irani. I loved working with Priyadarshanji and wish to become his assistant."

It was four years ago, the superhit show Balika Vadhu, based on child marriage, brought in a wave of rural shows. Now it moves into a progressive zone with the lead characters Anandi and Jagya finally getting divorced.

Being the traditional Indian wife, it was tough for Anandi (Pratyusha Banerjee) to cut off from Jagya (Shashank Vyas). However in the recent episodes we witnessed that Dadisa, who earlier had a conventional mindset, now has realised that it was unjust for Anandi to suffer like this for lifetime and that’s is why she took the life-altering step of getting the two divorced.

The upcoming episode will show Dadisa and Jagya’s father Bhairon visiting Jagat in Mumbai to get the divorce papers signed. And after reluctance, he will sign them eventually. Sources say that in the upcoming episodes, Jagya’s life will be affected, as his career that is already in the doldrums will face more roadblocks.

Anandi was his lucky charm and after the divorce, Jagya’s downfall will begin. His wife Gauri will be successful in her career, which will lead to trouble between them. Anandi, on the other hand, will try to make sense of her life while her family will look out for the right man for her. The channel Colors will finalise a suitable actor for the role in a week’s time.

She plays the ideal bahu on-screen and has number of fans following her for her naïve style. The star in talks, Pratyusha Banerjee, better known as Anandi of Colors’ Balika Vadhu, is flying high in her professional career.

And if you ask of her personal front then there too she is in a happy phase as she has found her ideal man in businessman Makrand Malhotra. The two are very much in love and are enjoying the dating period. But marriage is certainly not in the list of priority as of now. While talking to the sources on the lines, Pratyusha said, “At this point of time, we both are happy to be together and are enjoying each other’s company. Though I admit that there are ups and downs in every relationship, but we are going strong. As far as engagement is concerned, we are not in a hurry and would like to take some time”.  

On being asked if there is any pressure from the ends of families, she stated, “Both the families are extremely understanding and respect our decision. Just like us, they too are in no hurry to see us engaged this soon. However, we might get engaged within a year and a half.”

She also mentioned that if given a chance she’ll love to do a dance based reality show! Well, we hope the wish gets fulfilled soon!
