 It is Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara stealing all the limelight in 13th International Indian Film Academy Weekend and Awards. The successful road movie of 2012, swept the technical awards category with five trophies.

The winners were announced on Friday night at the IIFA Rocks, a fashion and musical night organised a day before the main award ceremony.

Starring Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin, it walked away with five awards for best editing for Anand Subaya, best sound recording mixing for Anuj Mathur and Baylon Fonseca, best choreography for Bosco-Ceaser, best screenplay for Zoya and Reema Kagti and best cinematography for Carlos Catalan.

"It is the best thing when a director trusts you and has faith in you. I would like to thank Zoya for trusting me. I would also like to thank Farhan, who sat with me for three weeks and taught me to edit," Subaya said after receiving the award.

RA.One followed with four awards for best special effects, best sound design for Resul Pookutty, best song recording for Vijay Dayal for Chammak Challo and best production design for Sabu Cyril. Niharika Khan won the award for best costume design for The Dirty Picture and best make up award went to Vikram Gaekwad for the same film. The Dirty Picture also won the award for best dialogues.

Bollywood’s megastar, Amitabh Bachchan was voted as the best power dresser and Bachchan bahu Aishwarya was titled as the best dressed celeb on the red carpet. Tinsel town’s Munni, Malaika Arora Khan grabbed the title of the most stylish celebrity mom. Evergreen beauty, Rekha got votes for traditional Indian fashion sense and Vidya Balan fetched the votes for her most unique fashion sense.

Hrithik Roshan has been offered to become the brand ambassador of Maharashtra
 The latest news making way is that Hrithik Roshan is set to help sell the state's sights & sounds to tourists of Maharashtra.

Buzz says that an agency hired by the Government approached Hrithik a few days ago to become the state's brand ambassador. They had sent a mail to Hrithik's team. It was immediately forwarded to him but he hasn't been able to take the final call considering his super busy schedule of Krrish3.

A source close to Hrithik informs that the Government agency wants Hrithik to take a few days off from his schedule to work on an extensive campaign for the state. They have plans to shoot a docu-film with him in places such as Kolhapur, Mahabaleshwar, Raigad and Mumbai. Even a photo shoot has been planned.

Hrithik is busy with Krrish 3 till October so it was speculated that the campaign will start after that only. But other sources inform that Hrithik too is keen on working out his schedule to fit in the camp since he thinks it is a great honour.

But everything depends on the schedule. It remains to be seen how they work out the dates considering Hrithik will be busy for another four-five months.

So now it has to be seen if the agency waits till then!

The latest one to join the list is Karan Johar’s untitled project to be helmed under Dharma Productions. Big buzz has it that the movie is based on the famous book The Immortals of Meluha. The main lead role in the movie has been bagged by Agneepath’s actor Hrithik Roshan and there is a little confusion about his co star.

Initially it was said that the actor wanted to be cast opposite his Krrish and Agneepath’s co -star Priyanka Chopra as he is comfortable shooting with her, but grapevines bring in the news that the director wants to cast Vidya Balan in the lead role.

Well, it is going to be difficult for them to decide between the two if the problem of choosing one persists. Let’s see who finally manages to be the goddess in the movie
