Latest news about Sara states that she has bagged a very challenging role in Balaji Telefilms’ upcoming show on Zee TV. She said, “Yes, it is true that I waited for the Balaji Telefilms show for four long months. In fact, I got offered many exciting roles in this period, but I could not take anything else.

But certain conceptual changes turned things around, and the creative team in Balaji wanted me to essay the role of a lady who was ten years elder to the guy. I had to put on weight and look different to essay the character. And that is when I decided to look for something else, a role which is more challenging”.

Furthermore, she will also be seen with Ankita Arora in Zee TV’s just lunched paranormal show Fear Files – Dar Ki Sacchi Tasveerein. The story titled Jinn is about a girl who from her childhood is being loved by a spirit. The Jinn has been smitten by the girl’s eyes and hair. The girl has not been married for long, but eventually she does get married to Imtiaz, played by Ankit Arora. However, the Jinn does not allow the husband and wife to get together. And when the husband is away, the Jinn actually comes near her taking the form of her husband.

Confirming the same, Gurmeet said, "Yes I was unwell but I think I'm back with this performance. I was suffering from throat infection for the past few days and was feeling weak. We performed this week on a Kerala Dance form which needs lot of energy and we did a mind-blowing act."

Modal turned actress Shilpa Anand successfully made her name in the glamour industry by working in every field, she has been well-known in advertisement world, is a prominent part of Bollywood town and was very famous on small screen for her remarkable role as Dr. Riddhima in Dil Mill Gaye aired on Star One.

Ever since Shilpa bid adieu to the show, her loyal fans have been eagerly waiting to see her back on screen. Well, the good piece of news for them is that she is making her comeback in fiction world after two years of gap through BBC productions telefilms titled Teri Meri Love Story on Star Plus, a series of short films, produced by different producers.

Shilpa will be featured opposite Viraf Phiroz Patel, who played the character of Shiv in Mahi Way. When sources got in touch with Shilpa, she come out with excitement and confirmed the report saying she is all set to be back on small screen after a long gap.

The short film is going to be of two hours showcasing full entertainment and will play once a week at the weekend slots. We also hear that the first telefilm would be this love story and the shooting for the show will begin today 05 July 2012.

The Marathi bala Yashashri Masurkar won all hearts as she played the naïve and loving Khanak in Star One’s popular drama Rang Badalti Odhani. Her on-screen chemistry with co-star Karan Tacker aka Shantanu had also bagged huge applause from all.

Now buzz making its way says that she might be soon seen essaying the female lead in Colors’ upcoming show to be produced by Swapna Waghmare Joshi and Maverick Productions. It’s the same show for which Jay Soni has been approached for the male lead.

Talking about the story, sources say that it will revolve around a Gujarati family who send their son abroad for studies. And the son would find his lady love there, and will want to return home with his bride. However, the family back in India has finalized a homely and conservative girl for their boy. If all goes well, Yashashri will play the girl who gets selected by the boy’s family.

When contacted, Yashashri Masurkar said, “I have auditioned for the role, but there is nothing beyond that. I am as of now busy shooting for my cameo role in Star Pravah’s Abhas Ha.”

Furthermore, we have also learned that Sanjay Memane, the noteworthy cameraman and Swapna Waghmare Joshi will team up again as producers under the banner Anahita Creations; they are presently producing Devyani for Star Pravah, for this show. The show will be co-produced by Anuj Saxena’s Maverick Productions.

I believe in trying out everything. I have done short films, television shows, am good at dancing, have tried my hand at anchoring etc. And this play is yet another feather in my cap. I would want to do a reality show, something like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa or Nach Baliye with Vivian”.

Further when asked about her expectations from Vivian’s next big ticket show, Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors and she quickly said, “Well, the show has opened to a very good response. I am eagerly waiting for Vivian’s entry, as I know how much of hard effort he has put into the role. The show has got a very good team; the beginning has been nice. Drashti is good, and so are the other actors.”

As reported earlier, the makers of Star Plus’ extremely popular show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon are coming up with their new show on Zee TV very soon. As the production house is only running with love stories, it has finally decided to diversify from the ongoing league.

The upcoming show by the Four Lions Productions will be based on crime and thriller. The show will be aired on Zee TV. And the latest buzz is that Karan Singh Grover, who rose to fame with his popular portrayal of Dr. Armaan on Star One's Dill Mill Gayye, has been approached to play a pivotal role in the upcoming TV series by Four Lions.

When sources got in touch with Nisar Parvez, the producer of the show said-"It's too early to talk about the show."  On the other side when spoke to Gorki one of the producers of the show, he confirmed the news saying, "We have approached many known faces and yes Karan Singh Grover is one of them."

Well, we hope Karan will soon be finalized for the role.

After churning back to back love frictions the team is gearing for conceptual diversification. The creative’s are already kicked about their upcoming venture on Star Plus, a bi-weekly crime thriller christened Emergency Special Force.

Now buzz has it that the production house is also working for a social drama on Zee TV. The serial will have a Muslim backdrop and its setting will be in Chandigarh. The show has a huge star cast of 17 to 18 actors. The plot will basically be a love story and will see two couples playing as the leads. All we have learned is that two sisters will get married in the same family.

For the above news Gul, producer of 4 Lions Films said “I have not yet received any confirmation about the show from the channel. But would definitely let you know once I get a confirmed date,”

She further went on to state, “I also love playing with my dogs. I have two dogs, the Perkin breed’s name is Lamda and the Chihuahua’s name is Shumba. They always jump on me and don’t let me sleep at all. I just love them. Furthermore, I love shopping a lot and I follow brands like Zara, United Colors of Benetton and I pick up foot wear from Charles & Keith. And guess what? On Mother’s Day I gifted my mother one carat diamond ring.”

And she confessed that she likes to live life king size and is a very expensive person. “I like to hangout in pubs and five star hotels. And yes, I love English movies. Recently, I saw Avengers and that too twice. As a person, I am very jovial in nature.”

Yeah, we know you have guessed that it is Dil Mill Gayye we are talking about. It simply wonderstruck us as to how come a show enjoys such eminence even after going off air from the TV screens. Generally, daily soaps fade out of minds once they bid their last salute to their fans. However, with DMG the case seems to be just the reverse.

The show is still popular among the masses and fans are longing since long to see it back. They all want to see the sizzling chemistry between Karan Grover aka Dr. Armaan and Jennifer Winget aka Dr. Riddhima once again.

When Palkhi Malhotra, Project Head, Cinevistaas expresses was asked the probability of DMG making a return owing to its demand, she said, “Who will not be happy if Dill Mill Gayye gets back? But the main question is, ‘When and where can it come’? DMG suited the genre of shows that Star One made. We could easily tell that Star One meant Dill Mill Gayye, and Dill Mill Gayye meant Star One.

Today, DMG is such a huge property that any channel can approach us to get it back on screen. But there have been no takers till now, and this in itself explains that this youth show does not fit into the genre of any channel. The only channel that welcomes youth shows is Channel V. We as makers of DMG would be glad to work on it again.”

Well, the relentless pursuits of the fans to get their loved show back might yield result one day and the show will soon get suitable pilot.

 The sabbatical for Mohit Sehgal fondly remembered as the fun loving Samrat from Star One’s Miley jab Hum Tum doesn’t seem to be getting over.

It was reported that Mohit has been signed for a TV show titled Khamoshiyan. The show is said to be aired on Star Plus and has Mohit playing an NRI in the daily. Reports even stated that the makers have introduced a new face opposite Mohit as the female lead.

However, it’s been quite long that the news has made its way but we haven’t yet heard anything beyond this. Neither the channel has made any confirmation about its launch nor are the makers bringing out any further updates. And if the recent buzz is to be believed then the story sounds quite different.

As per a source, “Mohit Sehgal who was finalized to play the main lead in the show might not end up doing the show. After shooting the pilot, some budget issues crept up and Mohit and Production House are trying to sort out the same. We also hear that the channel is looking for another option."

And when Mohit was contacted to know his side, he stated, “I haven't signed anything, and have not even confirmed. Talks are still on and things go according to plan I will do the show. However, I cannot comment right now."

All his fans are eagerly waiting for him to make a comeback. Hope everyone involved with the show will soon break their killing silence!

The popular trio of Star One’s vampire saga Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani, i.e. Piya aka Sukirti Khandpal, Misha aka Priya Wal and Ruhi aka Roshani Shetty not only shared a great friendship on screen but they even have the same proximity despite the fact that PKYEK has gone off air.

Their friendship was proven when during the launch party of Colors’ new show Kairi, in which Roshani is playing a very important role as the second bahu of Imarti Devi, Sukirti and Priya had come to cheer her. They were seen chatting and having fun during the party and later on after the party was over they all went together for a drive.

Meanwhile, sources somehow managed to talk to Sukirti in between the hustle and bustle of the party and she said, “I am not part of the show; it’s just that Roshani is a good friend and we have come to meet her”.
