Avika Gor of Balika Vadhu fame will be seen in Priyadarshan's Tezz

Famously known as Anandi of popular television show Balika Vadhu, Avika Gor, who is now days seen as Role in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka will be seen playing a character role in Bollywood's upcoming flick Tezz.

It has been informed earlier as well, that Tezz is Priyadarshan’s upcoming action flick that stars Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Sameera Reddy and Kangana Ranaut in the main leads.

Buzz says that Avika will play an important character in the film as she will be seen in two to three scenes which are vital to the storyline. The story is about a train which is hijacked by terrorists and Avika plays Boman Irani's daughter who is traveling alone in the train. Boman is the train controller who will be in contact with his daughter only through her phone."

Sources contacted Avika who told, "Yes I am playing Boman Irani's daughter who is around 13- 14 years old girl and has a new cell phone. I have very cute scenes with Boman Irani. I loved working with Priyadarshanji and wish to become his assistant."

Doing item numbers in B-town films is the latest way to fame and the list of item girls is multiplying day by day. After the newly entered damsels like Nathalia Kaur, Mallika Hayden and a few more to mention, it’s Anjana Sukhani to join the bandwagon.

Last seen in 2010 movie Allah Ke Banday, Anjana has been trying hard to make it high in Bollywood. The lady after sharing screen space with actors like Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, is still waiting for the right opportunity that can get her into the A-list. And looks like she has found a solution in item numbers!

Buzz states that Anjana will shake her legs in Priyadarshan's Kamal Dhamaal Malamaal. Confirming the news she said, "I am doing an item number in Kamal Dhamaal Malamaal. (But) We have not yet shot the item number. The song is a blend of Indo-western theme. It should be shot by next week and it will be choreographed by Pony Verma”.

She even stated that Kamal Dhamaal Malamaal is not a sequel to the 2006 film Malamaal Weekly. "No it's not a sequel to Malamaal Weekly. They are calling it as a fresh film," she said. Starring Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Nana Patekar, Asrani, Shakti Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Razak Khan and Neeraj Pathak, the film will hit the screen on Sep 28.

The buzz making way from the sources says that this year two of Priyadarshan’s films will be hitting the silver screen. While one is action-thriller Tezz starring Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn in the main leads, other is Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal starring Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Nana Patekar, Asrani, Shakti Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Razak Khan, Neeraj Pathak among others and  is all set for a September 28 release.

Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal is a big film in terms of narrative, the plot size, number of days of shoot etc. The production values are great; the cast is also a treat to work with.

Talking about the film, Priyan reveals, “We have Nana Patekar with Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Shreyas Talpade, Asrani, Shakti Kapoor amongst many others and this time the music also gets mainstream with Sajid Wajid. I am very happy with what they have created. It is fun, original and enjoyable to the fullest.”

He further adds, “It is a film with an identity of its own. There's more drama, action, and of course, comedy. It's high on production values. The Christian village backdrop has a perfect setting for the adventure to unfold.”

After Munni, Sheela, Anarkali and Razia, smoking hot Laila was all geared up to create a sensation among the audience but if the latest reports are to be believed then the item girl will not be able to treat the audience with her Latkas and Jhaktas anymore.

Big buzz is that Mallika Sherawat’s item song has been dropped from her upcoming movie Tezz. The news is quite surprising since her item number has already become quite a rage in the town. As per the industry sources, filmmaker Priyadarshan being not satisfied with the final performance, has decided to chop out Laila from his movie. But the twist in the story is that flick’s producer Ratan Jain wants this song in his movie, now it has to be decided will the Bollywood bombshell add spice to the movie with her item song or not!

Rumors have been doing rounds that initially Sameera Reddy was approached for the item number but she refused and then reports of casting of Jia Khan made quite a stir. Finally sex bomb of the tinsel town, Mallika Sherawat was roped in as Laila and now the speculations are going on that her item song has been chopped out from the flick. Well, if it is a publicity stunt then it can work out well for the film!

Tezz stars Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles and is all set to hit theatres on April 27th.
