Finally the search of the title ended upon Adhoori Kahaani, the upcoming fiction show on Sony Entertainment Television.

Sri Adhikari Brother’s creation show will feature Raqesh Vashisht, who has last seen in Star Plus’ popular show Maryada and Aamna Shariff, who made her acting debut in Balaji Teleflim’s production Kahin To Hoga, essaying the lead roles in this new tale.

On the other hand, renowned actress Deepshikha Nagpal has been approached to play the female lead’s mother. Now talking about concept and title of the show, the show titled Adhoori Kahaani, will be the love story of a middle class man and a rich girl, and will trace their life from the point of falling in love to getting married and eventually parting ways, and will go on to show how their love gets them together yet again.

Aamir Ali was supposed to play the other lead in the show but this is not confirmed yet. The show is expected to go on floors soon and will be one of the next few fiction launches on the channel.

24 Frames’ debut show on Colors, Chhal Sheh Aur Maat is doing pretty well but it still has to prove its worth and secure some eye-catching TRPs on the charts.

The track is going the right way and is able to arouse the curiosity among the viewers and to spice up the existing drama; CVs are planning for a new entry. Buzz has it that Dakssh Ajit Singh who was last seen essaying the role of Gaurav in Maryada Lekin Kab Tak, might be the new entrant in the show.

Sources say that Dakssh will play the role of Abhinav, the brother of Kabir (Avinesh Rekhi) who has not been shown till now. Highlighting his character, a little birdie was heard saying that his will be a ruthless character, completely negative and will be seen serving a long sentence in jail presently.

It is also heard that Abhinav will be back in the house to create more problems for Aditi (Hunar Hali). There are chances that Abhinav might be the Sarkar, who is shown responsible for the first attempt made on Aditi to kill her. As per the current track, viewers have seen Ija (Aishwarya Narkar) looking concerned about a person in jail, and there has been a mention of Abhinav in the story line.

Though Dakssh couldn’t be reached for his confirmation on the same but it is learnt that he started shooting for the same from June 16 and his entry is to be aired on June 19. 

Well, his entry is sure to intensify the Chhal!

Sources from town state that Star Plus is gearing up for some major changes and in the coming month we are going to see the channel bringing out some really big ventures. And as we say, the old has to make the way for new. Buzz states that after Sasural Genda Phool being in the news for going off air, Star Plus’ Maryada has finally got its end date.   

Going as per the reports, Maryada is going to breathe its last on April 13, 2012. Ridhi Dogra, who plays the role of Priya Pradhan in the show, confirmed the development and said, “The production house has informed us officially stating that the show is going off air on 13 April 2012.”

Kamya Punjabi, who plays Uttara, also seconded with Ridhi.
