The love-hate tale of RK (Vivian Dsena) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami) in Colors’ Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is getting interesting day by day with various mysteries unfolding.

So far we have always seen RK bashing out at every member in his family and not giving a damn to anyone around. However, Deepali (Seema Mishra), who has been carrying a mystifying aura surrounding her character, is far away from RK’s wrath. On the contrary, she has been behaving quite weirdly with him. Well, if you too had been thinking hard about her identity then let us tell you that she is indeed playing Sikandar’s (Sikandar Kharbanda) wife in the daily. She has a past connected with RK and if believe the buzz then the two were once in love.

But what got her married to Sikki is a mystery which will be solved later. As of now, it has been heard that Deepali has a hidden motive and she is seeking revenge from RK.

Devdatta Nage, who has portrayed some powerful characters in the past on television, will be seen playing the role of Shumbhu and Surendra Thakur will play Nishambhu.

Devdatta confirmed the track and said, “I was busy shooting for Shivaji and Kala Kalaya Namaha on ETV Marathi when I got a call from the production house (Triangle Film Company) to do this show. Since I was shooting for two shows already I declined the offer initially. However, then they approached me again. I am glad that I accepted the series as my character is very powerful.”

If buzz goes correct, these characters will mark the birth of Mahakali in the show. Since Shumbhu and Nishambhu cannot be killed by Gods or humans, only a woman can end their lives. Parvati will take the avatar of Kali thereafter

Jasveer Kaur, the talented actress is looking for her next challenging project on television after she opted out of the longest running show on Sony Entertainment Television, CID. Jasveer was part of this Fireworks Productions show for two years.
Talking about her stint with CID, Jasveer says, “I have got appreciated for my cop’s role in CID. Few of my fans have told me that I am the best female cop on TV. Kids have loved the way I usually slapped criminals. The best part of the show was that since I was always dressed in jeans and t-shirts, I hardly needed time to get dressed up; in fact I used to shoot with my own jeans at t-shirt at times. Apparently my jacket or corset that I used to wear had become a rage among teenagers. I have also heard that young girls used to ape my color rubber bands.”
So if all was well, why leave CIDCID long back, when I was doing K Street Pali Hill, but had declined the offer as I could not leave Ekta Kapoor’s show.”
Ask her what’s next as it has been more than six months since she left CID, and she states, “Frankly speaking, not many would have got to know that I have left CID as repeat episodes keep airing on TV. You are the first media person to ask me about my next project, so hopefully someone from the industry would make a note of it and approach me for something new. For the moment, I am enjoying walking the ramp (latest was INIFD Fashion Show with Nisha Harale in Chandigarh).”

This piece of news will surely sadden the fans of Bharat Kaul and Charu Asopa, who were earlier on the headlines to be in the final list of casting in Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, produced by Sphere Origins.

But without a valid reason they were abruptly removed from the show at the last minute. Buzz making its way says the reason for this is that the story has been tweaked by the channel. However, the recent development in the script has forced certain changes, and Bharat Kaul’s character, who was earlier roped to play the father of lead Sahil (played by Ashish Kapoor) has been erased.

While on the other side, Charu Asopa, who was last seen in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev on Life OK, was to play the sister of the male leads. But she has also been ousted and the creative team is now looking for a younger face.

Bharat Kaul expressed displeasure saying, “Yes, I have been informed today that I am not needed for the Sony show. The reason given was that with the script change, the father’s role has been removed. I had got many other offers, and to reject an actor after everything is finalized is not done. I ask the concerned people – ‘If an actor had refused to do the show at the last minute, how would they have reacted?’. Anyway, I guess this is part of life.”

Charu Asopa too echoed her sentiments and said, “I am not doing the show anymore. Everything was fixed and I was to start shoot when I was informed that they needed a younger looking face to play the sister.”

All we can say is this is part and parcel of the television industry!

Love has completely changed our mighty Arnav Singh Rayzada (Barun Sobti) and his recent acts are very much enough to prove this fact.

As seen last in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Arnav once again made Khushi (Sanaya Irani) abide by a new deal wherein he has promised to pay off the rent provided Khushi works for him for a period of 24 hours. Well, this time the deal is quite a weird one as expecting things to change in that time span certainly sounds impossible. Moreover, his behavior is quite jittery as one is not able to make out what Arnav is thinking of exactly.

Now that he very well knows of his contract wedding with Khushi coming to an end in next few days, limiting his task to 24 hours has come up as another surprise.

Last we saw that Arnav made Khushi come up with all those antics, which at one point of time he never could stand by. And today all he wants is to see Khushi back in the same manner, all chirpy and mischievous.

In order to fulfill the 24 hours deal, he has come down to the Gupta house and has informed them of being there for a matter of two to three days. Back at Rayzada house, Arnav makes sure of informing Anjali (Daljeet Bhanot) of staying back at buaji’s place on the pretext of her ill health. Well, we just hope that this doesn’t end up creating another misunderstanding between the siblings.

Anyway, now that Arnav is there with Khushi, things are sure to spice up and romance is surely in for all. Let us now wait for Monday to see what exactly Mr. ASR is up to!

After garnering overwhelming TRPs and getting praised on various social networking websites, Aamir Khan's maiden TV show Satyamev Jayate has finally come to an end.

The talk show, which started with the issue of female foeticide, pondered over various burning social issues informing, educating, sensitizing and touching audiences' hearts and ended its 13-week journey Sunday with the spotlight on the right to equality.

It is notable that the show went on air May 6 and in episodes after episode, Aamir brought ahead unknown facts related to child sex abuse, medical malpractice, manual scavenging and dowry. He followed it up off the screen by meeting concerned leaders to ensure the problems are resolved.

He initiated his acts over the issues discussed with his meeting with Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot wherein he requests the creation of a fast track court to decide the cases of the doctors, none of who have been penalized in the female foeticide cases. Along with that the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Bill, 2011, that was earlier cleared by Rajya Sabha, got the nod from lower house after the second episode of Satyamev Jayate.

Next in line was the episode highlighting malpractice among medical practitioners which even irked medical community. Though the medical community was miffed and asked apology from Aamir, the parliamentary standing committee invited Aamir and the Satyamev Jayate team to discuss the issue.

The grand finale of the show highlighted the basic tenets of the constitution that promises equality for all. Ironically, the people in the country are still subjected to discriminations on the basis of caste and religion. Aamir had asked, "When India's leaders envisaged building a new nation after independence, the constitution was the foundation stone of this Endeavour. We had resolved to establish a sovereign, secular, democratic republic with justice, liberty, equality and fraternity for all. After 65 years of Independence, are we actually living up to those principles”.

It saluted the courage of The Sarvodaya Trust, which gave shelter to both Hindu and Muslim children after the 2001 devastating earthquake in Gujarat as well as Sunitha Krishnan, a social worker who looks to rehabilitate prostitutes and rape victims through her anti-trafficking organization Prajwala.

Sunshine Productions has now launched The Buddy Project on Channel V, which again talks of youth and their life.

The show, which has now gone on air, is a young and peppy one which revolves around the relationship between a motivational teacher, played by Manav Gohil, and eight young kids. It will capture the varied and diverse emotional connect between the kids and the educator. Manav, as Aniruddh, will be a strong guiding force who will teach the greater meaning of life to the kids without losing on the innocence and fun part.

The young group comprises of newbies Fahad Ali, Jatin Sharma, Cheshta Bhagat, Palak Jain, Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh, Nikhil Mehta, Krishna Patel and Bharti Kumar. The young bloods will be seen as different avatars, be it a prankster, a lover boy, tomboy et al.

Producer Sudhir Sharma said, “It’s a youth-based show on Channel V and airs at 6 pm. The show basically targets the young audience. There’s also a repeat telecast at 10.30 pm and umpteen times the next day.”

When asked about the TRPs and other competition, he said, “Well it surely won’t affect the TRP’s of Na Bole… as the target audience is quite different and Channel V is not a GEC but a YEC (Youth Entertainment Channel). We are sure that many of those kids who see the show can relate to one or the other character of the show.”

She admits that she is aware of the rumors, but is surprised that nobody from the production team or channel has said anything to her yet.  

While asked her about the present state of mind, she quips, “It’s frustrating now. I have been giving my 200 per cent to this show. I've shot even on days when I've had viral fever. My producer Rakesh Paswan hasn't said anything to me. In fact, he has not been keeping well and so I didn't want to bother him about this.

She added, “There was an online article that said actress Parul Chauhan is going to replace me when the fact is that Parul has not even been approached. I really would like to know whether I'm going to continue in the show or not. Of course, I am hoping for the best and want to be part of this show that has given me so much love and appreciation.

The promos are already hitting the air waves and getting generously enthusiastic reviews from the masses. It is witnessed that after the post leap few new faces would be boarded to spike up the rating.  The promos featuring veteran actress Aroona Irani is currently on air and the daily is soon expected to take an eight year leap.

Media is abuzz that the generation leap will take place in the month of August. The upcoming episodes will see the couple Siddhi and Kunal parting their ways with each other. Looks like there is a lack of cognitive proficiency on the sets of Madhubala…Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, as the news from the source says that these days the team is not on its comfort while shooting the important sequences.

If buzz is to be believed then every time the team of Colors’ Madhubala has an important sequence to shoot, they end up yelling and shouting at each other when basic things like earring and chappals go missing from the sets. This ultimately delays the shoot.

While shooting its last episode, which was a Maha episode, director Ravindra Gautam, who has the responsibility of churning out the episodes, got hyper because of the delays. However the director denied it as he said, “Not at all. Nothing like that happened on the sets, somebody has given you wrong information.”

On the other hand producer Saurabh Tiwari (Nautanki Telefilm) said, “Madhubala is not any regular daily soap. We have three sets; hence minor issues keep on happening.”

Further when asked him about the lack of coordination of stars and team he said, “It’s not lack of co-ordination as this is something that happens on every set. But in Madhubala, we have special episodes, every now and then which take a lot of time for execution. So I understand how one has to handle things on the sets,” Tiwari added.

As you must have come across the new promo aired, the contract wedding will now create a rift between the lovers in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. Khushi, who is considering herself responsible for the heart wrenching condition of Anjali (Daljeet Bhanot) and the distance which has come between Arnav and Anjali, will decide to move out of their lives.

In the coming episodes we will see Khushi declaring it to Arnav that theirs is a contract wedding and after a few days they won’t be entitled to live under the same roof. She will make up her mind to leave the Raizada house. However, Arnav on the other end will try his best to stop Khushi. It is notable that Arnav had earlier married Khushi out of anger towards her. Something out of the blue is waiting to happen with lead protagonist Simar (Deepika Samson) of Sasural Simar Ka, a highly classy drama on Colors.

The cat fight of Khushi (Jyotsna Chandola) and Simar is dawning on the level of inhumanity, where Khushi is not thinking of anything but to ruin Simar’s life completely.
