The name of Vindhya’s character name in the show is said to be Jaya.  She will essay the role of Zorawar Singh (Kanwaljit Singh) and Amrit Singh's (Supriya Pilgaonkar) youngest daughter. With her flawless beauty and stunning acting skills, Drashti Dhami won her laurels playing the vivacious Geet in Star One’s Geet Hui Sabse Parayi.

She enjoys a huge fan following and her enthusiasts are more than eager to hear of their favorite actress. Drashti as Geet has created a benchmark for herself and her on-screen chemistry with Gurmeet Choudhary aka Maan is still considered to be the best among all.

Post the show’s end all had been eagerly waiting to hear of her comeback and now that she is returning playing small screen’s Madhubala, one can’t help but rave about her look in the show. Tilted as Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, this show by Saurabh Tiwari’s Nautanki Films will go on air from May 28, 2012 at 8:30 PM on Colors (Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna has some real competition now).

As seen in the promos so far, the show is based on film fraternity and highlights Bollywood and its happenings. The pretty Drashti will be seen playing a simple girl Madhubala, who has no fantasy for fame but is forced into it. Talking of her character, she said, “Madhubala is not a very ambitious girl and she does not crave for fame. She just wants to stay with her loved ones”.          

On being quizzed as to how different Geet happens to be from Madhubala, she said, “Madhubala is mature and calm whereas Geet was very bubbly. Moreover, as Geet I used to say oye and thoudi, so I have to get rid of the habit. I am also working on my body language.”

She is quite hopeful that people will love her in this new role and her chemistry with co-star Vivian Dsena will also kick off well!

Star One’s vampire saga, Pyaar Ki Ye Ek Kahaani made Sukirti Khandpal  the immensurable actress of Television Industry. The very enchanting beauty Sukirti crossed the limits of admirers through the show.  Since the show went off air, her fans have been missing her but she will soon be seen in Jay Mehta’s next on Zee TV.

In a conversation she revealed the notion about what she had been doing in her mean time, she smilingly said, “Oh nothing much… I am just chilling at home. Enjoying life, eating, sleeping and reading. I love reading novels a lot and currently I am perusing Paulo Coelho’s The Winner Stands Alone”.

She further went on to state, “I also love playing with my dogs. I have two dogs, the Perkin breed’s name is Lamda and the Chihuahua’s name is Shumba. They always jump on me and don’t let me sleep at all. I just love them. Furthermore, I love shopping a lot and I follow brands like Zara, United Colors of Benetton and I pick up foot wear from Charles & Keith. And guess what? On Mother’s Day I gifted my mother one carat diamond ring.”

And she confessed that she likes to live life king size and is a very expensive person. “I like to hangout in pubs and five star hotels. And yes, I love English movies. Recently, I saw Avengers and that too twice. As a person, I am very jovial in nature.”

After entertaining the audience making the desi vampire saga Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, inspired from the film Twilight series, on Star One, starring blue-eyed boy Vivian Dsena and pretty Sukirti Khandpal, Balaji Telefilms is once again up and gearing to target the youth of this country.

They are remaking the popular American teen drama television series Gossip Girls. It is based on the book with the same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar.

The sizzling actress Shraddha Musale, currently playing Dr Tarika in CID, will be seen in a sexy and sultry avatar of professor Sadhana, in the show. Her role is loosely inspired from that of Sushmita Sen’s in Main Hoon Na. She confirmed the news and said “Yes, I have been approached for the role but I can’t talk much about it. However, all I can say is that it’s a very interesting one”.

Apart from Shraddha, Sagar Saini has also been signed to play the character of the principal in the show. When contacted Sagar Saini, who was last seen in Bhagonwali, he confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I am doing the serial. But I can’t comment on the role as I am yet to start shooting.”

Well-experienced and beautiful television actress Khyaati Khandke Keshwan has been approached for an important role in Zee TV's upcoming project.

Last seen in Imagine’s Beend  Banunga Ghodhi Chadhunga, she  is again ready to make her presence felt in the fiction world. According to the source, "Khyaati, popularly known as Sejal of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, had been looking out for a challenging role and her hunt has now come to an end. She has now been signed for an upcoming Balaji project on Zee TV. The tentative title of the show is Tere Ishq Nachaye”.

When sources got in touch with Khyaati, she confirmed the news saying, "Yes, I have been offered the role but can't comment now." Apart from Khyaati we hear that Rajev Paul and Saraa Khan have also been finalized for the said show.

After bagging name and fame at the very tender age of 14 through a historical show Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, the young Laxmi Bai popularly known as Manu, Ulka Gupta is set for a comeback.

It is notable that Ulka became a household name playing the young Laxmi Bai and even after the show took on a leap, her character was always cherished by all.  She was highly acclaimed and appreciated for essaying the role of Manu. She even won numerous awards for the same character.

But soon after, the young talent went missing as she is said to have been pursuing her studies. However, her sabbatical is all over now as we hear that Ulka has been approached to act in DJ’s A Creative Unit’s upcoming show on Star Plus.

The show is about a simpleton family, where Ulka pitches herself. She will be very rebellious in nature and will be the main family member.  Sources say that show is about a Punjabi family settled in Delhi. The plot revolves around a girl who will run away from home to marry her lover and later will get abandoned by her beau and return. The pilot for the show is expected to be shot soon.

Ulka confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I have been approached for the role but I can’t comment much on it right now. All I can say is that I am very excited about it.”
