Shakti Arora, who played Tapush in Star Plus’ Tere Liye, explored his potential and dabbled at anchoring with Imagine TV’s Gyaan Guru.
Needless to say this experiment yielded results and his hosting skills were loved by one and all. The show became quite a rage among the masses and everybody praised Shakti for his lively presence on the sets as a host. Thanks to his wonderful stint on the reality show, Shakti was then offered to host the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2012 which were held on Thursday, May 3, 2012.
This was indeed a moment of pride for Shakti and before taking on the podium to host the glorious event, he was quoted saying, "It's a great event I am excited to be a part of such a big event. All the actors and the producers of our Indian Cinema will be part of the evening today. I haven't really prepared myself. I have decided to be myself and I will meet people with warmth and respect. There are butterflies in my stomach but I'm sure it will all be fine."
Meanwhile, sources say that Shakti did his job pretty well and impressed one and all with his liveliness. With this we also got to hear that after trying hands into anchoring, Shakti is willing to get back to acting. He is waiting for a good script to come his way.
