Ting of action, tinge of drama, taste of romance, shades of humor, thunders of music and tapping of feet; all this was seen in the most awaited Rowdy Rathore starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.
This Prabhu Deva film was all dipped in same old hues without experimenting with the elements he put into the movie. The unpredictable remake of Telegu hit Vikramarkudu, this movie seemed to be a cross breed kid of Dabangg, Singham and Agneepath. The story revolves around life of Rowdy who is fun loving and loves daring acts. One sudden morning he gets up and gets the biggest shock of his life when he sees a girl in his life claiming him to be her father. The shock is later subdued and vanished when he comes to know the truth that the girl is daughter of his long-lost twin Vikram Singh Rathore who is a Police Officer.
Same resemblance confuses the girl and she ends up claiming Rowdy her father. Later Vikram Singh is attacked and assassinated by under-world gangsters and eventually Rowdy has to take the place of Vikram as Police officer. There begins his journey and findings about the killers of his brother.
Vibrant colors, pastoral backdrop and with conservative dance routines this flick might make you feel hooked at first but drowsy in first part as the real drama and action is left for the part after break. All or nothing is what you might feel after coming out of cushy multiplexes.
It’s like any other masala flick which is liked, loved, watched and even remembered in parts not in whole. But suitable screenplay helps us to stick to it. The final word for movie would be Eternal Entertainment.
