R K Laxman Ki Duniya is a comedy show on India's SAB TV starring Radhika Vidyasagar, Naina Apte, Atul Parchure, Vandana Pathak and Vinay Yedekar.

A retired Sanskrit teacher.Is not completely against the use of English but who strongly feels that either the Mother tongue or the national language should be used for communication. 

He Speaks only in couplets.

He has a peculiar habit of throwing chalks to seek the attention of the people. 

Bhavesh Vasavda (Atul Parchure) Krishkant’s elder son. A man with a very positive attitude towards life. Is an accountant in the private firm. Is a music lover and Loves old songs Of Lata Mangeshkar & Asha Bhosle. He has a unique habit of calculating the expenses which would incur in the course of any event.

Bhavana Vasavade (Vandana Pathak) Bhavesh’s wife. A housewife who come from a small town of Gujrat. Plays  very innocent and and dedicated wife. Very religious and believes in wearing a particular color on a particular day. She is blessed with a very strong 6th sense.  She has a unique feature  of celebrating every festival,  where region and religion is no bar.

Lata Vasavade (Nupur Bhatt) Bhavesh and Bhawana’s daughter.  A simple girl who hates going to school. She is forced to learn singing.

Asha Vasavade (Afhsa Musani) Bhavesh and Bhawana’s younger daughter.  A little cunning in nature. Is quite smart and intelligent.

Ambika Vasavade (Hemlai Joshi) Krishkant’s daughter. A very well educated female. Very emotional.Loves to eat, and tries every possible way to loose weight which fails. Is also a  classical dancer. Is often seen busy with the gypso puzzle or the crossword of the newspaper. Not married.

Piyush Vasavade (Krishna Bharadwaj) Krishkant’s younger son. A  Happy go lucky person. Is  a graduate. He has a unique  habit of trying his hands on various business.  Each time he find himself in loss.

Priyamvada Vasavade (Shruti Rawat) Piyush’s wife. She comes from a very rich family. Is madly in love with Piyush. Knows  nothing about the household chores especially cooking but loves to try her hands on  it.

Kaveri Kulkarni (Nayana Aapte) A typical Maharashtrian lady who is very interested in cricket, and can thoroughly recite the history of cricket. Supports her daughter – in – law and often lands up in arguments with her son. Loves her grandson whom she had named Sachin and forecasts him to be a cricketer.

Ramesh Kulkarni (Vinay Edekar) Kaveri’s son. A government employee. Is very kind hearted, always ready to help his friends and relatives and this puts him in trouble every time. He does not like his son’s interest in television and cricket. He is the kind of person who would opt for Satyagrah to protest against something that he feels is not right.

Neena Kulkarni (Radhika Vidyasagar) Kaveri’s daughter in law. A very sweet lady and a very good singer. She takes the credit of kavita Krishnamurthi ‘s acheivements, because she strongly believes that it is she who gave her the opportunity, Neena offered her seat to kavita and so the credit goes to her. Enjoys the household chores.

Sachin Kulkarni (Hardik Sangani) Kaveri’s grandson. A great admirer of cricket. Hates to study and wants to either watch the cricket match or play himself. Often lands up arguing with his father.

LCD Kuttie

Rajni Amma (Gulfam) LCD Kuttie’s wife. A dedicated fan of Actor Rajnikant, she considers him God. She has a separate temple where she had placed the idol of Rajnikant and worships it everyday. She runs a catering business and serves only south Indian dishes.

DVD Kuttie (Parth Mehta) Son of LCD and Rajni Amma.

Mamu T (Sanjay Wadekar)

Rajni Amma’s brother who stays with her.

Is a very short tempered guy.

Always lands up in argument with LCD Kuttie.

Is a very helpful guy, not only helps her sister but also helps the people of colony.

Is all rounder and has  a solution to every problem.

He is Rajni Amma’s younger brother.
