Well, this was brought into your notice in the past too that Ravi Ojha’s Sasural Genda Phool aired on Star Plus will give away its time slot of 7:30 PM to Hats Off Productions’ soon to be aired Sasuma.
However, till now it wasn’t sure if the light hearted family drama will draw its curtains or will get a new time slot. But now the buzz is out and we have heard that the show is indeed going to bid adieu to its fans. The show starring Ragini Khanna and Jay Soni, will wrap up in the third week of next month, April 2012.
Ragini confirmed the show coming to an end and said, “It was a lovely journey. This character gave me lots of name, fame and recognition. Although I am sad that Sasural… is going off, it has been a good experience and anything that begins has to end someday.”
Furthermore, J D Majethia’s latest offering Sasuma will replace it (will go on air from 23 April 2012 at 7.30pm). The promos of Sasuma are expected to hit the airwaves tonight (31 March).
Maryada going off air has already been reported and after Sasural…the next one is surely going to be Pratigya!
