TV actors have a fantasy for Bollywood and one can’t deny the fact that film industry has proven to be a great platform for them. Our town has got the jewels in acting in the form of Shahrukh Khan, Vidya Balan, who started their respective careers via TV as the medium.
Of late, among the young crops names like Rajeev Khandelwal, Prachi Desai and the very recent one Ayushmaan Khurana of Vicky Donor fame, have also secured a safe place. Moving on, the next kid on the block is going to be none other than Barun Sobti, who has earned a big fan following playing the mighty Arnav Singh Rayzada in Star Plus’ extremely popular daily Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.
He along with Kavi Shastri (of Rishta.com fame) will be seen together in a flick called Main Aur Mr. Right. Shenaz Treasurywala is said to be playing the lead role in this romcom. The film is about a girl who is on the hunt to find her Mr. Right and meets four guys. Barun and Kavi will be seen playing two of those four leads.
The film is being produced by Mad Midas Films and is being directed by Adeeb Riyas. Bappi Lahiri is composing the flick’s music. Kavi said, “Yes, I am doing the film. It’s a very interesting role and I am very excited to be a part of it. We will start shooting soon.”
However, Barun refrained from giving any statement. Well, we hope that the film makes it big!
