This is a big question for the world of technology that whether the LG Optimus G would be the next Nexus smartphone or Google, which is announced to be launched in November month in USA, this year.
In the previous month, at the IFA event at Berlin, LG had just announced about their upcoming smartphone, whose features and specifications are revealed in the recent big event in New York. LG has announced that the phone will be launched in Korea for sales in the next week.
The smartphone has some really good features including the 4.7 inches WXGA True HD IPSPlus display that will offer 1280 HD pixel resolution. The phone has been powered with the Android 4 ICS operating system and also has the LTE 4G connectivity.
The phone has the 13 MP rear camera with 1.3 MP front camera. The processor part will be Qualcomm SnapDragon S4 pro processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with quad cores. The RAM memory is 2 GB and there is a new battery technology introduced in this smartphone.
The thing which I didn’t like in the smartphone is that the phone has the ICS inbuilt OS instead of the JellyBean v4.1 OS. The other thing, the 4G will be launched with one or both carriers- AT&T and Sprint.
The phone is expected to be the next Nexus smartphone by Google as the Wall Street Journal in May, had reported that there will be a number of Nexus smartphones, to be launched by various brands.
I hope LG soon answers the question regarding the smartphone to be launched as Nexus or not!
