Nokia Lumia 920,
which was launched by the brand Nokia on 5 September, 2012 at NYC 2012
earlier this year, is exclusive to AT&T for a period of six months.
However, the smartphone is quite hot in its sales and performance.
The USA citizens loved this Windows based smartphone but they will have to choose the AT&T carrier to enjoy the phone as the smartphone is exclusive to AT&T. Will the exclusivity beneficial or a loss for the brand?
This is the major question in the minds of every tech analyst as Nokia had failed in its first attempt of launching Nokia Lumia 900 with flagship of AT&T. However, the period of the exclusivity is 6 months this time.
Even then, it does not matters, as in an ocean of smartphones, the
Lumia 920’s popularity will definitely fade out and after the duration
of six months, it would be hard for any other carrier to choose the
smartphone.
Another big question is that Will Nokia manufactures a CDMA version of the Lumia 920 model so as to fit with the carriers like Sprint and Verizon of USA? This is also unpredictable. So, let us hope the best for the brand, who is seeking a stable position in USA market in the smartphone segment.
Talking about brief features and specs of Nokia Lumia 920, there is a 4.5 inches IPS TFT capacitive touchscreen having 1280 x 768 pixels resolution and 16M colors support.
The smartphone has 32 GB internal capacity, which can not be further extended manually. The 1 GB RAM and 1.5 GHz Krait processor with its dual cores perform the various tasks of the users. The connectivity features include 2G, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. The Global Positioning System is also enabled in the smartphone with Nokia maps.
The phone operates up on the Microsoft Windows 8 operating system, which makes the phone quite different from the others. The camera features include the HD quality videos and pictures from the 8 MP rear camera. 1.3 MP front camera is also a good addition by the company
