Well guys, this piece of news is surely going to surprise you the way it took us all aback! We had earlier updated you about a new show to be aired on Colors, which as of now is being titled as Shikhar.

The show is to be produced by Saurabh Tewari’s Nautanki Films and so far we have got to know that the dashing vampire from Star One’s Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani, Vivian Dsena aka Abhay Raichand has been roped in to play the lead role. Up till now, it was speculated that this show is based on a cross border romance.

However, the latest news coming says that the show is loosely based on the highly talked about yesteryear love saga involving the classic actors Dilip Kumar and Madhubala. Sources have reported that Shikhar will showcase the real life love tale of the two, which unfortunately could never meet a happy end. Under all possible chances, Vivian will be the final candidate to play the iconic Dilip Kumar on the small screen.

With him being almost finalized for the said role, the production house is only left to get Madhubala in the frame. As said, Geet Hui Sabse Parayi fame Drashti Dhami is being considered for the female lead and once she gives her nod we guess this Dilip-Madhubala love tale will be all set to hit the production floor.
