Helly Shah to play the lead in Life OK's Alakshmi
If you guys had loved her sweet and appealing act in Star Plus’ Gulaal then this piece of news is surely going to delight you all.
Buzz has it that Helly Shah, last seen as Talli in Gulaal is set for a comeback and this time around she will be seen playing the lead role. Sources say that she will make her return in fiction shows with Hat’s Off Productions’ upcoming show, tentatively titled Alakshmi to be aired on Life OK.
Sources even added that this show is the remake of hit Bengali drama Romonir Gune (Star Jalsa). Helly will play the role of the female lead, Lakshmi, who will be very naughty and mischievous in nature and will be someone who never cries in life. It is a family drama about three brothers and their household fights. The outdoor shooting of the show will begin after 11 April 2012 in Wai, near Pune.
When sources contacted Helly she said, “Yes, I have been approached for the role but I can’t comment anything as it’s too early to talk about it.”
Well, this is certainly a great comeback for her, and we hope she gets finalized too
