Drashti Dhami and Angad Hasija to pay a tribute to Yash Chopra

Not just Bollywood, small screen too is making all efforts of paying tribute to the departed soul of veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra, who passed away recently leaving behind his fans to mourn over the big loss.

And in order to bid adieu to his soul and give an ode to the wonderful films he has made, two of TV’s hottest and immensely Drashti Dhami and Angad Hasjia will be seen together for the first time ever! Well, don’t worry it is not related to the two pairing up for any new show but a stage act.

It is notable that Drashti is presently associated with Colors’ Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon where she is cast alongside Vivian Dsena. Angad on the other end is still basking in the glory of Bidaai and will soon be seen in a new show Savitri. Buzz confirms that two of them have been roped in to cater a stage act for one of the awards’ event to be held on November 4. They will pay tribute to the late film maker by dancing on popular songs from Yash Chopra especially from DDLJ (Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge).

Sources inform that both Angad and Drashti are rehearsing for Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna and are bonding well together. Says Angad, "Dhrashti Dhami is a good actress and performer and I am sure audiences will like our performance together".

We just hope RK doesn’t mind his Biwi dancing with someone else! Anyway, hope the two put up a great show!
