JK Shin has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini
smartphone (which is scheduled to be launched later this year) in a
press event that took place today i.e. October 11, 2012. The event was
held at Germany which ended with the brief description of the upcoming
Galaxy member’s features and specifications.
So, the son (Galaxy S3 Mini) of the smartphones’ leader Samsung Galaxy S3, is not that much MINI as if compared to the Apple’s biggest smartphone i.e Apple iPhone 5. Well, reportedly, Galaxy S3 Mini must be manufactured with a 4 inches Super AMOLED display having resolution of 480x 800 pixels. The mid ranger smartphone is said to be a tough competitor of Apple iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.
The smartphone will be operated upon the latest Android OS i.e. the JellyBean OS v4.1. The smartphone will be featuring 1 GHz dual core processor with 1GB RAM. The phone will be available in two variants according to its internal memory: 8 GB and 16 GB.
The looks and the design of S3 Mini is same as that of the Galaxy S3 instead of the changed size from a 4.8The front camera size of the new one is VGA and the rear camera will be featuring 5MP lens with the LED flash. The phone also has the 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Near Field communication support but there is still no clarification about the 4G LTE presence in the smartphone.
Instead of the onboard memory, the memory card will be provided for a further 32 GB capacity in the phone. I guess that this smartphone will be going to succeed more than the Galaxy S3.
The price of the smartphone would be near about 399 Euros. Let us wait for December month when the smartphone will be launched officially.
