News about Imagine TV’s highly popular Chandragupta Maurya making a comeback has permanently been the topic of discussion. Since Imagine TV closed down, there has been a huge buzz that the show will make a comeback on Sony Entertainment Television.
But it has been quite some time since the news broke and nothing has been heard further in the direction. Now the latest update on Maurya’s phoenix like story is that the channel Sony Entertainment Television, has asked the production house to get a NOC (Non Objection Certificate) from Turner group. Nothing can get a go ahead till the NOC is obtained.
For the confirmation of the news when sources get in touch with show’s CO Nilanjana, she said, “That’s true, Sony is asking for NOC and it will take time for us to get it. It’s a process and we have to undergo it,”
Meanwhile, news of serial’s lead Ashish Sharma aka Chandragupta opting out from the show has already troubled many. And his replacement will be made only after the makers procure the NOC.
Hope the audience soon gets to watch Maurya back!
