Rupali Guha, producer of the long running show on Colors, Uttaran, organized Mata Ki Chowki on the sets of her show last Saturday. Apparently, a series of injuries to actor Tina Dutta, and few others in the crew forced the production house to organize a puja on the set.
Ultimately, it was decided that they will keep Mata Ki Chowki and sing bhajans in praise of the Mata. Everyone in the cast, from the elders like Pratima Kazmi, Beena to youngsters Tina Dutta, Sreejita De, Chaitanya Choudhary, and Vikas Bhalla were present on the occasion. The channel people too attended the Chowki and got a feel-good time.
When contacted Rupali Guha she said, “Yes, it is true that we organized a Mata Ki Chowki on the sets. We were not shooting on the day, and it was not compulsory as such for the cast and crew to attend. But we were really taken aback and were happy to see all of them present. Tina had some other work, but she managed to take some time out. Pratimaji had a nice time, so did Beenaji. Even people from the channel attended the Chowki.”
She further added, “It was personally a nice feeling for us, as our daughter secured a 90% in her exams on the same day. It was like thanking Mata for all that we had got,”
Well, we must say to the team, a nice way of pleasing God.
