Zee TV to merge three of its shows to create entertainment blast
In
the race of entertainment, crossover episodes are slowly and steadily
emerging as one of the widely used trends. In a rather interesting
conceptual development, the storylines of two or more same shows will
bring them together.
Last we saw how Zee TV gave the viewers an integration episode in Choti Bahu and Pavitra Rishta to introduce the leads Rupal Tyagi and Mahima Makwana of their new show, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms.
The buzz has it that the channel now plans yet another Mahasangam episode, this time with Balaji Telefilms’ Pavitra Rishta, Rajshri Productions’ Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli and Trilogy Krikos’ Hitler Didi. If source is to be believed this integration episode will be shot on the sets of Pavitra Rishta, and will be aired on 28 May 2012. For a change, the episode will not revolve around any major drama; rather the channel is focusing on light-hearted comedy to impress the viewers.
The humorous track for this particular episode is presently being worked upon, and the shoot will take place very soon. When contacted, Suhasi Dhami, the protagonist of YMGGK about the humorous track she said, “Yes I have heard about the Mahasangam episode, but I have not started to shoot yet. All I can tell you is that it will be a light-hearted episode unlike our last integration episode where I had to cry a lot.”
Hope it happens to be an entertaining one!
