Another series of fiction will soon fold its matters from television world. We are talking about Life OK’s show Sapno Ke Bhanwar which is going to be off air in the upcoming month. The show was launched with much fanfare and the channel had big hopes that it will gain the desired numbers.
However, destiny had something else in store. The soap never really clicked with the masses, in spite of having a promising star cast including Vandana Joshi and Rahul Singh.
Replaced by Hats Off Productions’ upcoming show, Alakshmi, the Sapno’s plot was supposed to be based on the infamous Jessica Lal murder case but that never really got displayed on the small screen. Only after three months of its launch, it started dealing with the original content but by then audience had already lost faith and interest in the serial. Apart from that, lack of apt marketing and promotion is also a reason for the show’s dismal performance.
When contracted to lead actress Vandana Joshi, who was last seen in Dance Reality show DID on Zee TV she said, “Even I have got to know about the show going off but we haven’t received any official announcement from the production house. But that is the possibility as our show has the least TRPs. We all are upset as it didn’t do well and failed to gain eyeballs”.
That’s really sad!
