The latest news making way says that the hot-shot poster of upcoming film Hate Story will be painted blue because of apprehensions by West Bengal Board of Censorship.

Earlier the poster has created quite a stir, as it featured bare backed Paoli Dam, the star of the movie. The Calcutta High Court has upheld an order issued by the state censor board to the film's distributor, Jalan Distributors, asking that the posters be displayed only after the actress' back is painted blue.

Justice Dipankar Dutta, who upheld the order, directed the distributors and the state to file affidavits in support of their contentions. Jalan Distributors claimed that the film has already got a U/A certificate and, as such, the state government cannot ask it not to depict scenes from the film on the posters.

The state Advocate General, Anindya Mitra, opposed the plea claiming that such posters should not be displayed in public places in view of children. The film has already been in the news for its adult content. According to reports, the controversial poster has fetched over Rs 10 crores for all India theatrical rights.

Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the film releases on April 20 and is a thriller revolving around Paoli's character who uses sex as a weapon of revenge.
