Helmed by Rajesh Chaddha and Saurabh Srivastava’s Panglosean Entertainment, Zee TV’s Phir Subah Hogi as told highlights the practice of Sar Dhakaai, which is still followed in parts of Bundelkhand region.
The show has opened on a good note and the promising star cast that it boasts off is already bagging attention from all. And as per the latest buzz, the CVs are now planning to introduce one more prominent character to be played by Mamta Luthra, last seen in Sony TV’s Bade Acche Lagte Hain. Sources say that in the show she will play Vikram Singh’s (Varun Badola) dai maa.
Buzz even states that her character is inspired from that of Ila Arun’s from Ashutosh Gowarikar’s film Jodha Akbar. She will be an important person in Vikram’s life. Vikram will be very obedient towards her. Furthermore, dai maa will be subtle in nature and a very strong individual having a certain degree of control over people around her.
Confirming her presence in the show, Mamta said, “Yes, I am a part of the show. It is a very interesting character and I have already started shooting”.
Well, let us see how the story unfolds now!
