Kanica Maheshwari is all happy and elated, thanks to her blooming personal and professional life. The actress, who last played the glam doll Sasha in Star One’s Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, is currently playing a village belle in Star Plus’ top rated, Diya Aur Baati Hum.
Her role has won her many accolades and she is highly happy with the response coming her way. Not only professionally, at the personal front too Kanica is enjoying life to the fullest. The pretty lady, who got married recently (18 January 2012) to Delhi based businessman Ankur, is all content with what life has offered.
Talking of her show, she said, “I don’t really want anything; I just wish my show, Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum, gains more popularity”. Other than these, she has many more reasons to flash off her smile. Kanica got a precious birthday present from hubby Ankur in the form of a diamond neckpiece. Speaking about it, she said, “I remember casually telling him that I would love to have the jewellery I saw in a magazine, which Hollywood actress Julia Roberts was adorning. And, he has gifted me the same”.
She further talked of her B’day plans and added, “I always visit the temple on this day. It just feels incomplete without thanking the Almighty for whatever he has given me; there is nothing that I do not have. When I am in Mumbai I visit the Siddhivinayak Temple; but since I am in Delhi currently, I will be visiting a nearby Sai Baba Temple”.
