Mallika Sherawat to open the Super Fight League
In a country like ours where everyone equates martial arts either to Bruce Lee or more locally, Akshay Kumar, Raj Kundra and Sanjay Dutt have conceptualized the country's first fighting league for Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), called the Super Fight League (SFL).
And they are hopeful to make it as big as cricket. MMA is a full-contact, intensive combat sport; the fastest growing in the world and a multi-billion dollar industry. Sources say that post conducting stunning matches in Mumbai and Chandigarh; they are now working to guarantee that the third match in Delhi on May 6 too is brilliant.
Raj Kundra said, "Mumbai of course is home, where our people are, so we held the first match there. We planned the second for Chandigarh because it's the land of warriors, and then we thought of Delhi, which has a more refined audience." And the big buzz states that they have roped in the sexy damsel of town Mallika Sherawat to kick start the evening. Mallika, along with Zarine Khan and Anushka Manchanda, will be hotting up things at the Indira Gandhi stadium.
To this Kundra added, "Mallika is Sanju's friend, and she's also very popular in the Delhi-Haryana belt and with Zarine and Anushka, we hope she'll add the required amount of glamour."
