Popular as Varsha aka Varshu of Pavitra Rishta, Priya Marathe took the plunge on the auspicious occasion of Akshaytritiya on April 24th with her long time friend Shantanu Moghe in Pune. The couple tied the knot after the courtship of two years.
Known for her outstanding performance as Archana's (Ankita Lokhande) sister, Priya married Shantanu, who is also an actor by profession. The wedding was simple and attended by close family members of the couple. Priya's friends from Pavitra Rishta were also present at the wedding.
The marriage ceremony took place in Pune. Shantanu is the son of famous Marathi actor, Shrikant Moghe. Priya Marathe confirmed the news, "Yes I got married yesterday in Pune to Shantanu. We have known each other for two years and decided to take it to the next level. I will be soon back in Pavitra Rishta."
Speaking about their relationship, Priya said that though she and Shantanu have been friends for a long time, they decided to tie the knot on the auspicious occasion of Akshaytritiya.
