Two of Colors’ highly popular family drama, Kairi produced by Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd and Sasural Simar Ka by Sunrise Productions, are going to see a cross over episode.
Crossover episodes are slowly and steadily emerging as one of the widely used trends in the Hindi television industry. In a rather interesting conceptual development, the storylines of the two same shows will bring them together.
As already seen in Kairi, Imarti Devi (Hema Singh) has been busy preparing for her son Anuj’s (Jay Bhanushali) wedding with Ambi (Preeti Chaudhary). Now, Mataji (Jayati Bhatia) will be shown as Imarti Devi’s childhood friend and she will be invited for Anuj’s wedding. Hence from tonight’s (14 May) episode, audiences will see Mataji’s family attending various functions during the wedding sequence.
While sources spoke to Preeti regarding the development, she said, “Yes, the Kairi team will be seen on the sets of Sasural,” however, she refused to divulge any further.
On the other hand, when sources called up Manish Raisinghania, better known as Siddharth of Sasural Simar Ka, he seemed to be clueless about the crossover episode.
Hope the move will help to rake up the TRPs of both the soaps!!!
