Contrary to what William Shakespeare had said, "What's in a name”, two of entertainment industry’s big names are hell-bent on reversing the adage.
Buzz has it that TV world’s renowned production houses, namely Balaji Telefilms and Jay Mehta Productions have entered into a tussle over the title of their respective shows. We have already brought this into your notice that both the production houses are churning out big budgeted shows for Zee TV. It was Balaji to first reveal out the name as Tere Ishq Nachaye. Does that remind you of something?
Well, you are right, just a day before the Jay Mehta show also came up with the same name. As heard, the show made under Balaji and co produced by writer Saba Mumtaz-Red Blue White Films has actors like Saraa Khan and Rajev Paul. It has been pushed till September 2012; hence the channel has given their title to Jay Mehta Productions as it will hit the floors earlier.
When Saba was contacted about the same, she said, "I really have no idea about this. Give me some time to figure out. But I don’t think this can happen as the title Tere Ishq Nachaye is registered with Balaji Telefilms and Saba Mumtaz."
Jay confirmed the title but showed his oblivion to Balaji also having the same title for their show! Let us now see who will finally win this Name War!
