It’s been a year that he has been entertaining us all with his adorable acts; he has proved to be a great dancer, supportive friend, incredible lover and above all a perfect gem by heart.
And before you guys think as to whom we are talking about let us tell you that it’s Swayam of Dil Dostii Dance on Channel V, who has sought the attention today. Playing the lively character of Swayam has made newbie Shantanu Maheshwari a renowned name to all. Quite alike his on-screen character, off screen too Shantanu happens to be a shy one.
Talking of the show and the success which has come his way, he said, “I never thought I will be so popular and receive so much love and affection from people. The feeling is amazing and can’t be described in words”.
Shantanu even talked of Shakti Mohan and said that he missed her presence as a co-star. He added, “I can’t comment whether she should be back or not as it is for the creatives to decide. But she was an amazing person to work with and I definitely miss her.”
When he was asked the million dollar question if he has some competition from Kunwar Amar, Shantanu refuted saying, “Not at all. He is like my elder brother and we gel really well. The amount of experience that he has is commendable and I always try to learn from him. I still remember when we met for the first time during the workshop of D3, we clicked instantaneously and bonded wonderfully. And believe me there is no competition on the sets. The ambience is pretty healthy”.
