Priyanka Chopra is the only actress of the tinsel town who has received an opportunity to play different roles in a movie. Earlier, the talented diva donned many avatars in her flicks like What’s Your Raashee and 7 Khoon Maaf, keeping the trend up, she is playing three different roles in her upcoming Teri Meri Kahaani.
Helmed by Kunal Kohli and featuring Shahid Kapoor in the lead, Teri Meri Kahaani is all set to hit theatres on June 22nd. A little birdie from the town informed that the actress is thrilled to be a part of this flick which is based on the story of three generations.
The actress is playing the role of a Punjabi woman of 1910 which is very close to her heart. Priyanka is very excited to play the role of Aradhana; she reveals that she has added a personal touch to the role.
As per the industry sources her special Punjabi woman look is designed by Manish Malhotra. On being quizzed on donning a Punjabi avatar in her next, she told the sources, “I wanted Aradhana to be very Punjabi-spoken, so I have used a very Punjabi accent, a few words in Punjabi where she speaks. I wanted her language to be influenced by Punjabi, so hopefully that's come across”.
