After bringing up trend setting shows and highly adored love stories in the form of Star One’s Geet Hui Sabse Parayi and the ongoing Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon aired on Star Plus, Four Lions is now planning to bring a bi-weekly thriller for Star.
It was reported earlier too that the production house is keen on making a show based on thriller and they are currently on the hunt for the perfect faces. The show is said to have the right mix of action, thriller and romance.
Now the latest update that we have got for you states that Shaleen Malhotra and Sana Khan have been signed in to play the male and female lead, respectively. Shaleen has his fame via his stint in MTV Roadies whereas Sana won hearts playing the charming Lavanya in IPKKND. Though both the actors refused to give any confirmation regarding the same but we have heard from sources that the show has shot the pilot. More likely, it will hit the production floor by June 2012.
Shaleen is supposed to play a cop in the show and earlier this role was offered to Pracheen Chauhan, currently seen in Zee TV’s Choti Bahu. But Shaleen has surpassed Pracheen by bagging the meaty role.
Let’s hope that Four Lions will indeed rock with this thriller!
