life ki toh lag gayi movie review 2012

Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi doesn't convey anything that was expected!
life ki toh lag gayi movie review
After watching this Friday released film Life KI Toh Lag Gayi, one can conclude that loads of good actors can make a director confused about giving the proper space and time to every character. Director Rakesh Mehta's Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi suffers from the same problem.

It's a quadriptych; four different stories melting into one another. Along the way you wonder how people from such sharply polarised backgrounds could have any connection at all.

But, then, the idea of this seems embedded in the thought of Mumbai, a melting pot, a potpourri in which anything can happen, to anyone and seemingly disconnected lives can come together to complete others. The lives director Rakesh Mehta’s depicts are on the cusp of a breakdown.

It begins with the voice of Sudhir Mishra introducing the city in its most over-used paean; if the narrator says nothing new, the camera captures nothing new. The movie is slow but that's not the prime concern. It doesn't convey anything which was expected from a film with four characters carrying four separate notions.

Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi lacks the punch, and one can find it tough to look at the screen throughout the film. Good actors are wasted due to unimaginative writing.

Rating wise we would give the movie 1.5 out of 5, further you yourself are smart!
