Ever since the song Bharat Mata Ki Jai has been released, with everyday it is becoming the Indian anthem and the demand for Shanghai music is increasing by the day.
And now it is learnt that Dibakar Banerjee’s film Shanghai also has an item song that will be released soon. It is known to everyone that now day’s item songs have become quite a rage among filmmaker and it is taken as a compulsion to have at least one item song in every film.
The demand for an item song for movies is evident from the number of super hit item songs that are being played on every radio channel, parties and television channels. The makers of Shanghai have launched the 1st look of their upcoming item number, Imported Kamariya which features another British model Scarlett Mellish Wilson.
Dibakar Banerjee had spilled the beans about the girl last year but she was kept under wraps to retain the novelty factor of the song. The item song composed by Vishal-Shekhar is actually a satire on Indian people’s fascination for fair-skinned girls from abroad like Katrina Kaif, Nargis Fakhri and the recent one Nathalia Kaur. Thus the item number has a situational relevance in the film.
