Face-off between Aishwarya and Karisma avoided by Raveena Tandon
Meeting with your husband’s ex is never a pleasant moment and the same must have been felt by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan when she unknowingly bumped into Karisma Kapoor at a dinner hosted by Nita and Mukesh Ambani.
Everyone knows that Aishwarya’s hubby Abhishek Bachchan was at one point of time engaged to Lolo, however later the engagement was called off and the later settled down with Delhi based businessman Sanjay Kapur.
However, recently during a dinner held in honour of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon at the Ambani couple's residence Antilla, Lolo and Ash came face to face at the main entrance. Since Antilla has a common entrance and reportedly, it was Aishwarya who arrived first, while she stepped out of her car, Karisma’s vehicle was next to follow. As Aishwarya was about to step inside the party, someone told her about Karisma’s presence.
Within no time, Ash came face to face with Karisma and both looked through each other. It was an awkward scene but a prompt Raveena, along with her hubby Anil Thadani walked into the frame and greeted Ash with a hug, which averted the big face off.
What a close call! Wonder if the two would have greeted each other had Raveena not played saviour!
